The modern and spotless room was fantastic, I really enjoyed it. The location being very close to the train station was great, and most places in Kyoto were within reach. It was also convenient to be next to restaurants and bars.

Family atmosphere, exceptionally nice and affable employees during check-out. Beautiful, en suite room with futon bed. Unbeatable location, not too far from Yogenin Temple. 10 minutes' walk to the bus stop. Honestly nothing to complain about.

Location: the hotel was next to yasaka shrine, Kyoto Station, Gion, Pontocho and bus stops really close.

The location near Shichijo Bridge was great because a convenience store and a market were within walking distance.

The room was clean and had a comfortable futon bed, as well as a work desk, coffee/tea makers, and a TV which were all great additions.

The hairdryers being located at the entrance instead of in the rooms could be a minor inconvenience for some guests.

I had a really nice stay at Kamoya Ryokan. The location was perfect and stunning, close to the subway with easy access to a market and convenience stores.

And speaking of temples, there is an amazing one just a short walk away from the hotel. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations for places to visit. it's a wonderful place to stay and experience the local culture.

It can be a bit challenging to find the hotel at night if you're arriving from the Shinkansen.

My family room was en suite and I loved it; the staff were amicable people during check-out.
